Setting up your new Canon PIXMA printer is quick and easy. Whether you’re using it for home, school, or office needs, Canon ensures a smooth setup experience. What’s in the Box?
-------------------

When you unbox your Canon PIXMA printer, make sure the following items are included:

- Canon PIXMA printer unit  
- Power cord and adapter  
- Ink cartridges (usually black and color)  
- Installation CD (optional)  
- Setup guide/manual  
- USB cable (only with select models)

Initial Setup Steps
--------------------

**1. Power On the Printer**  
Connect the printer to a power source and press the Power button. Wait until the device initializes.
